Admission Basic Xcaret

The park is located just an hour's drive away from Cancun and 15 minutes from the Playa del Carmen. You will be able to enjoy a myriad of aquatic activities, including snorkelling, subterranean rivers, swimming with dolphins and much, much more. All in all, there is mile upon mile of adventure, physical challenges and breath-taking sensations to enjoy with this general admission ticket.

With the waters of the Caribbean lapping against Xcaret, you can enjoy shows with more than 300 actors on stage performing a musical journey through the history of Mexico from pre-Hispanic times to the present day, represented through colourful costumes, folklore and dancing. Watch a recreation of a pre-colonial Maya ball game, a charro celebration, a Mexican cemetery, a coral reef aquarium, a butterfly pavilion moreover underground rivers, beaches and natural pools.

You can also visit a breeding centre for local fauna, Maya ruins, a butterfly park, an aviary and an aquarium with a variety of plants and hundreds of fish. The park is also home to hundreds of species of exotic animals. Visit the Island of Jaguars and see for yourself how this powerful animal, the third largest of the big cats, lives and gets on with its friends. Swim in crystal-clear waters and explore subterranean caves. The aquarium contains more than 5,000 organisms from 500 species in tanks containing water pumped directly from the Caribbean Sea.
