An expert English speaking guide will accompany you and will help you navigate and point out places according to your interest. You will also enjoy a scrumptious lunch during the tour.

View the dramatically contrasting landscape at Pico do Arieiro, Madeira’s third highest mountain peak and visit Ponta de São Lourenço, the tip of Madeira’s peninsula for more visual treat.

Itinerary

You will be picked up from your hotel and taken in a bus, accompanied by a guide to:

Pico do Arieiro: It is the third highest mountain in Madeira. From here, enjoy the commanding view over Madeira. On a clear day it is possible to see Porto Santo, a neighbouring Island.

Ribeiro Frio: Admire the flora and fauna of the Laurissilva Forest of Madeira, now recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage site. A trout hatchery was built here to take advantage of the pure, cold, oxygenated water of this stream.

Santana: With the lush Laurissilva forest as its backdrop and its triangular thatched roof houses, Santana charms visitors.

Ponta de São Lourenço: It is located at the very tip of the peninsula of Madeira Island. It was declared a Natural Reserve in 1982 with the objective of preserving its fauna, flora and geological heritage.

Machico: This is Madeira's oldest town. It is believed that the first inhabitants of the island arrived at Machico.

The tour ends at your hotel.
