You will be picked up from your hotel in Guangzhou in a private vehicle that will lead you to the train station. An expert English speaking guide awaits your arrival as you board the fast train to Hong Kong!
First stop - Victoria Peak. Also known as Mount Austin and locally known simply as ‘The Peak’, the mountain stands at an altitude of 552 metres. The high-value residential area around Victoria Peak along with public parks, Victoria Harbour, Lamma Island are major tourist attractions that can be viewed from here. Take in stunning views of its expansive skyline and deep natural harbor.
Head next to Stanley Market which is a must-see for tourists and locals alike, and makes for the perfect place to cross items off your souvenir-shopping list. Stroll through the stalls selling silk garments, art, paintings, Chinese costumes, jewelry and more. Shop till you drop at Stanley Market and rejuvenate your palate by tucking into some Hong Kong styled delicacies in the nearby restaurants.
Thereafter, head to the up-market residential and luxurious area of Repulse Bay which is home to one of the most beautiful beaches in Hong Kong. Walk along the sun-drenched shores and capture some beautiful photos of the popular beach.
The next stop on your itinerary takes you to one of the southern tips of Hong Kong – Aberdeen. The largest satellite town with a population of about 60,000, Aberdeen was once infamous for being a den for pirates 200 years ago. It has since been turned into a simple fishing village, and in more recent times seen modernization with high-rise building developments.
The tour comes to a close as a private vehicle takes you back tothe train station for a ride back to Guangzhou. Alternatively, you also have the option to stay in Hong Kong and explore the city as much as you like.
