Explore the city from aboard a luxury coach and head to the Old City to visit The Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque, (Hagia Sophia Museum), built in the 6th century by the emperor Justinian as a Greek Orthodox Church. It was converted into a mosque in 1453 by Sultan Mehmet II the Conqueror and then into a museum by Ataturk in 1935.
See the Blue Mosque, named after its blue 20,000 Iznik Ceramic Tiles and considered the last great mosque of the Classical period. Visit Hippodrome, the sporting and social center of ancient Constantinople for 1000 years, and pay homage to the Tombs of Sultans, the final resting place of 5 Sultans and 142 members of the Ottoman dynasty. See the Fountain of Sultan Ahmet III, located in front of the Imperial Gate of the great Topkapi Palace and visit the oldest and biggest covered market in the world and discover 65 streets and more than 4000 shops containing all kinds of everything.
Enjoy some free time and after lunch head to the port for the Bosphorus Cruise from which you can see iconic attractions like the Golden horn, Topkapi palace, Dolma Bahçe palace, The Hagia Sophia Mosque, Maiden’s tower, Galata tower, Blue mosque, Ortakoy mosque, and the two continents Europe and Asia with the two Bridges connecting them.
After the cruise, climb aboard your luxury coach and head to Eyup Sultan Mosque by Golden Horn, a natural horn-shaped bay that divides the European side of Istanbul into two. Admire the atmospheric historical wooden houses, churches, synagogues, mosques and the remains of the Roman Wall. Ascend the Pierre Loti Hill by bus. The perfect view of the Golden Horn makes for wonderful photo ops. Then descend from Pierre Loti Hill by cable car.
