Overview

The Bohemian side of Lisbon marks a fashion statement that is edgy, happening and provides an insight into the life of the locals. The districts lined with vintage shops, eclectic boutiques, chic cafés and great restaurants that were once frequented by writers like Eça de Queiroz and Fernando Pessoa. A tram clanging, ringing its way through the cobbled alleyways will take you to the part of Lisbon that we are sure you would love to see.

Join your guide and reach the avante-garde Principe Real and Bairro Alto districts known for its dive bars, traditional Fado houses, wine bars and LGBT hotspots. Visit the ‘treasure church’ before hitting the upbeat Chiado, a shopping area since the 19th century and a famous cultural and literary district. Spend some time roaming the streets and snack on Pastel de Nata custard tart at a chic café (the guide’s top pick!). Sounds like a plan.
