  • Check your transport ticket: UnicoCampania offers tickets for different public transport services in Naples and the surrounding region. Check that your ticket covers the metro, buses, funiculars or Circumvesuviana train you plan to use. Tickets are available through the UnicoCampania app, at station machines and at tobacconists.
  • Book Pompeii ahead: Pompeii Archaeological Park has timed entry slots and a daily limit of 20,000 visitors. Booking online in advance is recommended. The Circumvesuviana train from Napoli Garibaldi to Pompei Scavi takes around 30–40 minutes, depending on the service.
  • Group sights by area: Explore Spaccanapoli, Naples Cathedral and Naples Underground during a walk through the historic centre. Visit the seafront and Castel dell'Ovo on another outing, and take a funicular to Vomero for views across the city.
