Itinerary

Love your markets, the bustle, the smells, that authentic feel? Then this is the tour for you. A look into the life of Kuromon Market, Osaka’s place to discover the secrets and way of life for this city.
With your local guide, you’ll find the best stalls and produce to sample Japan’s delicious food. This was once a fisherman’s market, now grown to be much, much more. This is where the Osakans shop, so you know you’re in the right place. If sampling real food weren’t enough, you'd also get the chance to visit Sennichimae Doguyasuji, Osaka’s ‘Kitchen town’. See the cooking tools and equipment crucial to Osaka’s chefs. From bowls to knives and neon signs! It’s here. Oh, and the famous plastic food! Originating over 100 years ago in Japan, these display samples make for the perfect souvenir (hint, hint!)
This is a walking tour with a whole lot more! Fill-up on the samples and get to know the local culture. Just make sure you don’t try to eat plastic food!
