A mecca of ancient monuments, museums and other landmarks, this entire city has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site!

Take in the historical feel and look of Georgetown as you drive through its streets. The attractions that you will come across during the course of the tour are as follows:

Enjoy a photo stop at Fort Cornwallis that originally belonged to the English East India Company and is where Captain Francis Light (Founder of the British Colony of Penang) first landed in 1786. Being the largest fort in Malaysia, it is one of the most prominent structures in the region. Undoubtedly, this fort will serve as the backdrop for some great clicks.

Khoo Kong Si - the majestic clan houses, or temples of the Khoo family, Penang’s most commanding clan.

Up next, visit the Clan Jetties with winding rows of still houses built by the sea. The clan settlement that was established by the Chinese immigrants in the 19th century, give you insights of the amazing Chinese architectural details and the evolving Chinese culture.

Finally, visit Wat Chayamangkalaram, also known as the Reclining Buddha Temple since it houses one of the world's largest reclining Buddhas at 33 metres. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings of this Thai Buddhist temple and marvel at this gold-plated reclining statue that mezmerises tourists from all over the world.

During your tour, you may choose to enjoy a ride on an authentic trishaw (cost not included in the tour price), the most flexible means of transportation around the city! Ride through the heart of Georgetown and admire the colourful Little India, an area that acts as an ethnic Indian enclave.
