Kalovy Vary, or Carlsbad, is known the world over for its thermal springs, which are said to have healing powers.
Experience the town’s renewing waters and take a tour of the Moser glass factory, where you’ll learn about the art and science of glass making.
You’ll also be treated to a real taste of local life, as you enjoy a snack of Carlsbad wafers and strong herbal liqueur.

To join the tour please proceed your way to Republic Square 3 (The yellow kiosk of Prague Sightseeing Tours & Cityrama). From there board an air-conditioned coach for this Spa City Tour.
Enjoy the scenic two-hour drive to Karlovy Vary, or Carlsbad, a world-famous spa city. Karlovy Vary has 13 main thermal springs, some 300 smaller springs, and sits on the warm-water Teplá River.
The Holy Roman Emperor Charles IV founded the town after experiencing the healing power of the hot springs, and it became a resort destination for members of the European aristocracy in the late 19th century.
Surrounded by dense forest and filled with well-preserved historic architecture, Karlovy Vary has been used a shooting location for a number of films, including the latest James Bond movie, Casino Royale.
Visit the glass exhibition at the local Moser Glass Factory, which has been producing the “glass of kings” since 1870.
Stroll through the city along the spa colonnades and dip your feet in the revitalizing mineral springs.
Enjoy a hearty lunch of vegetable salad, chicken or steak, kolach and coffee.
Nibble on a delicious local wafer and sip on Becherovka, a traditional herbal liqueur (payable direct).
