Overview

Prague’s fascinating history and modern character come alive in this two-hour coach tour.

Feel the cosmopolitan electricity when you drive through Wenceslas Square and admire the classical grandeur of the National Theatre, where Prague’s stars of the stage shine.

To join the tour please proceed to Republic Square 3 (The yellow kiosk of Prague Sightseeing Tours & Cityrama) from there board an air-conditioned coach for this Prague grand city tour. You will see the following sites of Prague from the window of your coach in this compelling two-hour tour:

  • Wenceslas Square: Anchored by the main neo-Renaissance
  • Prague Castle: Originally built from timber with soil ramparts in 870 AD, Prague’s most defining landmark has fallen into ruin and been rebuilt numerous times in its 1100-year history.
  • National Theatre: Situated on the banks of the Vltava River and looking out over Prague Castle, the National Theatre is a prominent cultural landmark, playing host to performances of opera, ballet, and drama.
  • Lesser Town: Government buildings and restaurants are interspersed with historical churches and palaces.
  • Charles Bridge: Completed in 1400, this stone bridge spans the Vltava River and is decorated by an alley of 30 statues and statuaries.
  • Former Jewish Quarter: The history of Prague’s former Jewish ghetto stretches back to the 12th century and is the site of the oldest extant synagogue in Europe, the Old-New Synagogue.
  • Old Town Square: This square housed the city’s central marketplace in the late 12th century and still boasts magnificently preserved buildings and churches from that era.

Your tour ends in Old Town Square.
