  • Berlin Welcome Card
Great value, and convenient ... once you actually get it
The free travel component of the card makes it particularly appealing and almost justifies the cost of the card on its own. The card gives you discounts at a very wide range of venues (I got into the habit of showing it everywhere just in case I got a discount, and it mostly worked), but note that it is always a discount and never free entry (so the card never allows you to jump a queue, e.g.). I ended up separately buying a Museum Pass to be able to jump the queue on Museum Island, which I greatly appreciated; there was some overlap between the two, but the Berlin Welcome Card has much wider coverage, so this worked out well for me. The main gotcha with the card is actually getting it. We were a bit too late to pick it up at Tegel, e.g. It was then advertised as being available from the Alexa Shopping Centre, but when we went to the appointed shop, we were told they had stopped issuing the card 6 months previously, so we had to go to the Brandenburg Gate to get it in the end (paying for public transport to get there, of course).

    Wow!
It was a great tour! A lot of interesting information. On the street it was raining, but the bus was warm enough. Hamburg is beautiful!

  • Skip the Line Alhambra Guided Tour
    Everything went extremely well
We could not have wished for a better tour. It went as well as we could have hope for. There was not one item that we could have asked to be better. Many thanks, J D Owen
