Our tips for Turin
Well worth taking a look: Turin is often an overlooked city, tucked away in the mountains. Head here, and you'll discover a city that has a great variety of food, wine and culture. Whisper it, you won't get the crowds of Venice and other famous Italian cities. Sounds perfect. Drink it all in, including the water: Can you drink the tap water in Turin? Simple answer: yes! And drinking plenty of water during the summer season is advised. Learn a bit of the Lingo: It's well worth doing a little language practise before you head to Turin. Nothing wrong with a few words to try out in the cafes and restaurants. While you are at it, try the local Bicerin, a local drink of espresso, chocolate and milk.
