A classic gondola ride is a perfect way to appreciate the beauty, charm and colour of this unique city built on water. Step into your craft and be transported back in time as your gondolier propels you along. As you sit back and take in the views, you will inevitably become involved in the friendly banter of the gondoliers - as much a part of Venetian culture as the gondola itself!

Look up at the glorious palazzos above you. Built by wealthy merchants and powerful families, these beautiful buildings are designed in styles ranging from Byzantine to Baroque. Explore many hidden canals that are so small, you can literally touch the palazzo, all the while basking in the atmosphere unique only to Venice.

Doge’s Palace:

Spend time exploring the iconic Palace, beautiful on the outside and equally impressive on the inside. The golden staircase, beautiful arches, and frescoed walls are sure to make your jaw drop!

Your fast-track ticket gets you in quicker, and you’ll be able to explore the ornate rooms, features and displays. Of course, there’s also the highlight of being able to walk the notorious Bridge of Sighs to cap off a memorable Venetian moment.

Seating is on first come first served basis and left to the discretion of gondolier in order to balance the load on Gondola.

There is no serenade (singing) on this Gondola option.

Generally Gondoliers do not provide commentary.
