Overview
Visit some of the charming towns and drive through the rural beauty of the Algarve on this sightseeing tour. Discover the old town of Faro which contrasts the lively new town, visit "the Venice of Algarve": the town of Tavira.
What's the plan:
The tour starts with a visit to Faro, the capital of the province of Algarve where you will explore the 13th century city centre. We proceed to the originally Moorish city of Olhão, an important fishing town, and its well-known local market. Discover the historic town of Tavira, with its Roman bridge, typical cobbled streets, its many churches (entrance fee not included). You will have the chance to visit the old castle, which has a high observation point to enjoy spectacular views of the city and taking fantastic pictures. Free time for lunch (not included). The tour’s last stop is a visit to the fabulous village of Cacela Velha where the Ria Formosa meets the Atlantic Ocean.
