Overview
You will be able to know an authentic Coffee Farm, where you will walk along a beautiful historic place and enjoy a fine Coffee Tour to observe closely the magical and fascinating process of growing and production of coffee, just 90 minutes away from Bogotá.
Come and be part of the ample processing which goes from the seed to the essence of each sip of coffee passing through the crops and their traditional processes, beginning in the seedbed where it is sown and harvested the chapola (sprout). Then, you go through a flowery coffee plantation of arábiga (Arabic) coffee of shadowing cultivation, to observe many of the varieties available in Colombia. This will make you feel like a coffee worker. From this place you will go to the Beneficiadora (warehouse), one of the most important and traditional places in the process of production, where coffee beans are washed, their pulp extracted and dried, and every bean is selected by hand.
The journey continues at the threshing machine, and from there you go to the last critical step for the quality of coffee: the toasting. This slow artisanal process gives the coffee its characteristic color and impresses the final quality of its aroma and flavor, which already made a drink you can enjoy as a real expert.
