Overview

Delve into Hungary’s rich history as you discover one of the most picturesque locations in Hungary – the Danube Bend. Visit 3 historic locations in 1 day starting with a short visit by bus to Slovakia and a drive back to Esztergom, the Center of the Catholic Church, the former capital of Hungary and the seat of the Hungarian archbishop. Explore the impressive interiors of the Cathedral and admire sweeping views of the Danube Valley at Visegrád (the former Royal Residence) from the top of the fortification.

After the Lunch (3-course menu with 1 mineral water), carry on to Szentendre, located at the gate of the Danube Bend, where you can enjoy a guided walk in the Artist’s village. You can visit the Margit Kovács Ceramic Museum or enjoy a cup of coffee on one of the quaint charming streets.

The menu for the lunch is as follows:

  • Broth with chicken and vegetables
  • Naples Chicken Brest with potatos in shell
  • Somolói (Hungarian sponge cake)

Return to Budapest on the Danube by public scheduled boat (May to September and on Friday-Saturday-Sunday) at the end of the tour.

The tour ends at the Pier/City Centre.
