Itinerary

Your luxury Spirit of Chicago Lunch Cruise promises a delightful and memorable experience. There is no hotel pick-up for the cruise, which starts from Navy Pier, where there is ample parking. Details of how to reach Navy Pier are given in Additional Information.

To receive your boarding pass please present your voucher and photo ID at the activity operator’s ticket kiosk at Navy Pier.

As you board the boat, a keepsake photo of you and your party will be taken, so go ahead and pose for the camera! (You can decide to purchase or not, when you dock.)

Once on board, friendly staff will greet and seat you, and take your drink orders (payable direct). Feel free to get up and explore the ship, especially the outdoor strolling decks.

As the ship pulls away from the dock, grab your streamers and your drinks and join the entertainers in a festive Bon Voyage toast.

You will be invited up to the Grande Buffet, where the lavish lunch spread will include the following:

While you dine, you can listen to a fascinating narrated tour as you watch Chicago’s breathtaking skyline appear through the huge panoramic windows.

Or hit the dance floor where the DJs know how to play music that you can’t resist. Expect everything from traditional sounds to up-to-the-minute hits.

Whenever you feel like stretching your legs, head topside for the largest outdoor patio deck in Chicago and catch a breath of fresh air and amazing views of Lake Michigan.

Your 2 hour cruise ends at the starting point at Navy Pier.

Please contact the activity operator Spirit of Chicago within 5 days of booking or at least 72 hours prior to your arrival into Chicago to confirm your cruise reservation. You will not be guaranteed a place on the cruise until you have contacted the activity operator to confirm.

You must print and present your voucher in order to redeem services purchased. Please present your voucher and photo ID at the activity operator’s ticket kiosk located at Navy Pier. You will be issued boarding passes at this time. Boarding begins one hour prior to cruise departure time.

Cruises go ahead rain or shine all year long. In the rare event the Coast Guard prohibits cruising because of weather conditions, your activity operator will contact

you to make other arrangements.

The confirmation voucher includes the local activity operator’s contact details and local telephone numbers at the destination. They will happily answer any logistical questions you may have.Ample parking is available at Navy Pier where the cruise starts. Alternative parking is available at 460 E. Illinois and 403 E. Grand (one block from Navy Pier).
