Our tips for Christchurch

Walk: If you are one of those who always think ‘what’s around the corner?’ then you’ll like Christchurch. Many new buildings are full of passages that run through and between buildings. They often open up into courtyards. Go and have a drink: After lots of exploring and walking it’s time for a drink! Head to The Terrace on Oxford terrace. Lots of bars are down here and restaurants too. Perfect to relax after a long day exploring.

Good to know

Winters are generally cold and summers mild. It’s a city influenced by the Pacific Ocean, so come prepared if you are visiting during the winter months. It is however dry and temperate. Just don’t expect it to be blazing hot!
