Embark on a unique self-drive adventure The Spinach Experience in Funchal with eco-friendly electric cars that turn the city into your personal playground! Choose from three incredible routes tailored to your preferences: explore Funchal’s historic centre, venture to the picturesque fishing village of Câmara de Lobos, or opt for an all-in-one tour combining both experiences. Glide past iconic landmarks like Santa Catarina Park, Avenida do Mar, and Socorro viewpoint, all while enjoying stunning ocean vistas and charming local stories. For nature lovers, the Câmara de Lobos route offers breathtaking coastal views and glimpses of banana plantations. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the activity begins.
A valid driver’s license and an additional ID (e.g., passport) are required for this experience.
Wear comfortable clothes and bring essentials like sunscreen, water, and a camera.
Children aged 7-12 or at least 1.35m (4.42 feet) tall can ride using a booster seat. Please inform us in advance if one is needed.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult, and a signed Responsibility Form is mandatory for children under 13.
Weight limit for two people: 200kg.
Not suitable for pregnant travellers or wheelchair users.
