Activity Overview
Discover Portugal’s Rich Heritage on this Full-Day Tour. Experience life as a pilgrim in Fatima, one of the world’s most significant Christian pilgrimage sites, visited by 5 million people yearly. Stop by the Chapel of the Apparitions, where the Virgin Mary appeared, and visit the Basilica of Nossa Senhora do Rosário to see the tombs of Francisco, Jacinta, and Lúcia.
The next stop in your itinerary is the 14th-century Batalha Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage site, built to honor Our Lady of Victory after Portugal’s triumph in the Battle of Aljubarrota against the army of Castilla.
Be sure to click photos at the top of Nazaré cliffs, and enjoy breathtaking views from the cliffs over the Atlantic Ocean. Learn about the legendary D. Fuas Roupinho.
