Our tips for Lyon

  • Plan a trip to Vieux Lyon and La Croix-Rousse Saône to see the Traboules, the delightful renaissance passageways, some 40 of which are open to the public, running beneath buildings in the direction of the Saône River. They are a unique architectural feature of the city.
  • Get the Lyon City Card and save money on sightseeing travel and entertainment when in the city. The card includes unlimited access to Lyon’s public transport and free entry to more than 20 attractions.
  • Visit the Paul Bocuse Restaurant, located just outside Lyon in Collonges-au-Mont-d’Or. This is where the culinary celebrity Paul Bocuse built his reputation and has maintained three Michelin stars since 1965! The prices are steep though so make sure the experience fits your budget.
