Itinerary

Your Provence tour begins with a pick up from Hôtel Radisson Blu in Marseille. Relax in your air-conditioned minibus as you drive to the most sought-after UNESCO World Heritage sites of Provence! Enjoy the company of an expert driver-guide all through the tour and get free time for lunch (not included) during the day.

Enjoy your day in the following order -

Les Baux de Provence: Head towards the Alpilles mountain range to visit the medieval village of Les Baux de Provence, located on a rocky spur overlooking the valley. Observe the carefully preserved cultural heritage of this village and experience how life was during the middle ages. Walk through its narrow streets lines with restored Renaissance houses, check out the ruins of the citadel and more. If you happen to go on this tour between March to December, you may have the opportunity to see the sound and light show about Picasso in Les Carrières de Lumières (entrance fee not included) instead of visiting the village.

Pont du Gard: Continue this journey to Pont du Gard to see the best-preserved remains of the Roman aqueduct of the 1st century AD that supplied water to the city of Nîmes.

Avignon: Drive along the docks between the Rhône river and the medieval walls to enter the majestic city of the Popes – Avignon. Check out the Saint-Benezet Bridge, famous for the children's song ‘Sur le Pont d'Avignon’. You will also have an opportunity to visit the Popes’ Palace, the biggest gothic-styled palace in Europe.(entrance tickets not included)

Châteauneuf-du-Pape (wine-tasting): It’s time to taste the wines of the Rhone Valley in one of the numerous cellars of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape village.

End this tour with a drive back to Marseille as the taste of the finest French wines still lingers in your mouth!

End of the tour may be delayed from 45 minutes to 1 hour due to the road traffic in Marseille.

From March to December, there’s a possibility to attend the sound and light show about Picasso in Les Carrières de Lumières (entrance fee not included) instead of visiting the village.
