Overview

A bike tour of Munich is an ideal way to get a flavor of this beautiful city and experience its popular beer culture. As you ride along, you will see wide open parks, elegant plazas, meandering riverbanks, beer gardens and winding medieval alleyways. Along the way, hear interesting tales about the city and its people from your knowledgeable guide.

Tour the Englischer Garten, which boasts an English gardening style. As you explore the garden, you will come across a 25-metre high wooden structure resembling a pagoda. Make a brief halt at the famous Chinese Tower beer garden for a drink and some snacks. Ride past the lovely banks of the river Isar to the vibrant Old Town of Munich. Trace the secret passageways to Munich’s heartlands on this bike tour.

Itinerary

The tour starts from Munich Central Train Station (Hauptbahnhof) at track 32. You will be met by your English-speaking guide who will provide you with your bike for a sightseeing tour of Munich.

The bike paths are the secret passageways to Munich’s heartlands. Your knowledgeable guide knows the best routes, interesting anecdotes and spots to stop for a quick beer. Visit the great royal centers of Königsplatz, Odeonsplatz and the Hofgarten. Continue to the magnificent Englischer Garten - one of Europe’s largest city park, the famous Chinese Tower beer garden where you can stop for a snack (cost not included). Ride past the lovely banks of the river Isar and explore Munich’s beautiful Old Town.

After getting a flavor of the city of Munich, cycle back to the starting point of the tour. The tour ends at Munich Central Train Station.
