Enjoy an insight into Hawaii Island’s creation and see ancient craters at the sprawling Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Tuck into a take-out picnic lunch from Millie’s in the park to refresh and relax. Peer into the depths of Halema’uma’u Crater which has remarkably doubled in size since the recent 2018 eruption that drastically altered the island’s landscape. Watch steam clouds form as groundwater seeps into hot volcanic rock at the famous Steam Vents.
Drive down scenic Chain of Craters Road and take in the breathtaking coastal views at Kealakomo Overlook where older lava flows melted into the ocean.
Drive through the formerly tsunami-stricken city of Hilo and down Banyan Drive and spend time in Liliuokalani Park and Gardens on this comprehensive volcano adventure tour.

Those with asthma and respiratory problems should avoid taking this tour due to exposure to fumes. All guests are required to sign a release of liability form.

Infants under the age of 2 are advised to travel on an adult's lap in the vehicle. No name or date changes will be honored once booking is confirmed. . Revised itineraries are subject to change due to evolving volcanic activity on the Big Island.
