Overview

You will be picked up from a designated location in central Reykjavik and taken on a guided bus tour to see The Northern Lights!

Experience and enjoy the absolute wonder of the Northern Lights, one of Iceland’s and the world’s greatest natural wonder. Your guide will also reveal the science behind this spectacular natural phenomenon and explain the best conditions in which to view it. Witness the world’s most popular natural phenomena - The Aurora Borealis, known as the Northern Lights, which are seen in winter, usually on clear crisp nights in places far away from the city lights.

Before starting this tour, the activity operator always checks the weather forecast around the south western part of Iceland. From experience, they decide where each journey will lead, their decisions based on the giving travelers best possible opportunity to see the Northern Lights. Northern Light hunting requires a lot of patience, your guide will keep you warm by serving a special hot chocolate recipe as well as light nibbles. You will be dropped off at your starting location after completion of the tour.

That's not all! Visit Aurora Reykjavik Museum on the day of the tour for FREE and experience the exhibition full of interactive displays as well as a specially equipped ‘photo booth’.
