Enjoy 2 top Icelandic experiences: A whale-watching tour and a Northern Lights cruise on one day!
The 3-hour whale-watching excursion departs from the Old Harbour in Reykjavík. Observe the minke whales, dolphins, porpoises, and humpback whales in Faxaflói bay. Soak in the gorgeous views and admire your surroundings bathed in the winter glow. Also, keep your eyes peeled for the fascinating birdlife and marine life.
Return to shore to spend some time exploring the city centre and enjoying a light dinner making your way to the harbor again for an amazing evening experience!
The magical Northern Lights cruise takes you into the Southern part of Faxaflói bay, away from the bustling city life. Head out into the open bay under the vast starry sky to experience the charms of pristine nature. Gaze up into the clear sky and enjoy the spectacle of the dazzling shades of greens, purples, and pinks of the Aurora Borealis that dance through the darkness. The Northern Lights, also known as the Aurora Borealis, are a spectacular natural phenomenon, often seen dancing around in fantastic colors across the Arctic sky.
While Northern Lights sightings can be erratic, if you don’t see the lights, you can take the tour again.
Voucher information: You can show your voucher on your smartphone (But if you’d rather print a copy – that’s fine too!)
Please arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.
Northern Lights is a natural phenomenon and sightings are not guaranteed! In the event of an unsuccessful northern lights hunt, there will be no refund. However, you may join on subsequent tours until you have a successful night of seeing the northern lights.
Indicated return times can vary due to road & weather conditions.
Icelandic winters can be very cold, we recommend dressing in warm layers, a waterproof jacket, and sturdy shoes. We recommend bringing a winter hat, scarf, gloves, and wearing warm socks for colder days.
Please note that both tours are weather conditions.
