Want to learn how to take the perfect Northern Lights picture during your next Finland trip? Gain the know-how and learn the tricks to take the best picture from a professional Aurora Borealis photographer. You will get great tips on setting up the best shooting angles, camera settings, and more! Bring your camera along during your Finland vacation; or, let the photographer can take some great shots of you in front of the Northern Lights!
You will be picked up from your hotel and driven towards a forest some 35 to 50 kilometers away from the light pollution of the city. You’ll set up camp, start a birch-wood campfire and grill reindeer sausages while some blueberry tea warms your belly! Listen to your tour guide explain the phenomenon of the Northern Lights and add in some Sami and Lappish lore, as well! Your photos will be promptly sent to you after the trip, making the Northern Lights Photography Excursion one of the truly unforgettable things to do in Finland!

Please note
The confirmation voucher includes the local activity operator’s contact details. They’re a nice bunch, and will happily answer any logistical questions you may have. Please give them a call at least 24 hours before your organized activity to reconfirm.
No need to print! If you are travelling with a smartphone or a tablet, you can present the voucher on your device for this activity.
So there’s no last minute rush, please arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes early or else you will miss your reservation.
The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon dependent on weather and solar wind activity. Thus, sightings are not guaranteed.
You can bring your own GoPro or camera.
This activity is for adults and older children only. Children under the age of 4 years will have to sit this one out.
The tour can be booked in other languages. Please mention your preferred language in the special request field at the time of booking.
We have vegetarian options for people who do not eat meat. However, this has to be mentioned at the time of booking.
The departure time may be adjusted according to the amount of sunlight during the day.
