This fascinating tour begins with pick-up from your hotel, then we will head to the city's main avenue to explore its history and main points of interest.
We will start with a panoramic tour of the Central Market, where you can admire the architecture and learn a little more about its history.
Next, we will head to the Plaza de Armas, the heart of the city, where we can admire the imposing Santiago Cathedral with its colonial architecture. However, the cathedral may be closed due to special activities or events. We will continue with a walk to the Palacio de la Moneda, the seat of the Chilean government, and the Plaza de la Constitución, where we will learn more about the history of Chile and its institutions. Depending on the month and day, it is possible to witness the Changing of the Guard, a solemn event that takes place regularly, but this stop may be omitted due to internal activities at the Palacio de la Moneda. We will continue to Cerro Santa Lucía, one of the most representative hills in the city, where we will stop for a short walk and enjoy panoramic views of Santiago.
We will continue our tour with a panoramic visit to the emblematic neighbourhoods of Lastarria and Bellavista, known for their cultural offerings, gastronomy, and art, providing a panoramic view of local life. It is a perfect place to soak up the atmosphere of Santiago and its historic charm.
Our tour continues to Bicentennial Park, a beautiful green space where you will have time for a relaxing walk in a natural setting.
Optionally, if passengers prefer, you can visit Bluestone, a local jewellery store where you will find pieces made with lapis lazuli, Chile's national stone.
The tour will end with a drop-off at your hotel, at the entrance to Cerro San Cristóbal, or at Patio Bellavista.
