Itinerary

Escape from the hustle and bustle of the city and go to the enchanting Thousand Island Lake, also known as Qiandao Lake. Take in the endless rows of green mountains and terraced tea plantations. Experience the magnificence of nature and bask in the pristine air and verdant landscapes.

Revel in the beauty of the Thousand Lake (Qiandao Lake) and the Feitsui Reservoir and take in the serene landscape, with its lush green hills, vast tea plantations, and glittering lake that appears to be dotted with floating miniature islands.

Go on to visit Pinglin Tea Plantation and see how some of the world’s most famous tea is grown. Famous for its Wanshan Pouchong tea, a visit to Pinglin plantation provides the perfect opportunity to stop by Pinglin Tea Museum, indulge in some local tea tasting and enjoy a chat with a tea expert about the best ways to brew the perfect pot of tea.

tour continues with a visit to Pinglin Tea Museum, a Hokkien-style Siheyuan (quadrangle courtyard house) type of building that characterizes the traditional dwelling of Taiwan.

The museum has an abundant collection of traditional harvesting tools and equipment, tea sets, tea samples and many more that you will learn about the history and development of Taiwan’s tea industry. Additionally, the AR contents offer immersive experiences that you can interact with the exhibits, and have a better understanding of the world of Taiwanese tea.
