Overview

Discover the city of 'one thousand windows' on this Berat guided tour and delve into the rich history and culture of the country. Berat is an Albanian gem and a testament to the country’s tradition and religious harmony.

Admire the white signature houses and see Berat Castle, perched on a hilltop, with the Byzantine churches, the Red Mosque, and the Onufri National Museum within its walls.

Onufri was an Albanian master painter of the 16th. Many of his wonderfully painted icons still adorn the walls of the museum while his other works can be found in churches in Albania and Greece where he worked. Head downtown to see the Leaden Mosque, the King's Mosque, the Bachelor's Mosque and the Alveti Tekke, and the old Bridge of Gorica.
