Overview

Get in touch with your inner artist during a visit to the Vancouver Art Gallery!

With your Vancouver Art Gallery tickets, you’ll come across more than a century’s worth of art by Canadian and international artists. Established in 1931, the Vancouver Art Gallery has always been a step ahead of the others during its 85 years of existence. With their thought-provoking exhibitions and innovative visual effects, they have earned themselves a respected place amongst North America’s art institutions. Discover beautiful creations by indigenous artists, which is one of the gallery’s greatest sources of inspiration. It’s what to do in Vancouver!

Learn about the “Vancouver School” and explore art pieces from the Institute of Asian Art. Check out masterpieces by local Vancouver artists, like Jeff Wall, Stan Douglas, Rodney Graham, Roy Arden, Ian Wallace, and others. You can even jump into a guided tour group and learn something new about the most famous local artists and their methods. Afterwards, you can peruse the Gallery Store for some unique souvenirs or grab a quick bite at the Gallery café. And, on sunny days, the outdoor patio is a great place to sit with a cup of coffee. For an immersive cultural experience, it’s one of the most artsy things to do in Vancouver!
