Itinerary

Depart from your hotel in a comfortable vehicle and head to the Hanyang Mausoleum, home to the underground Terra-Cotta figurines of Han Dynasty. Six times larger than the Terra-Cotta Warriors of Emperor Qin, the 40,000 individual figures were constructed over a 28 year period. Walk on the glass floor of the museum and behold the doll like figures of soldiers and animals half embedded in trenches.

In the afternoon, your expert heritage guide leads you to Shaanxi History Museum, the first large-scale modern national museum in China. Admire the central palace hall with four worship houses constructed in Tang Dynasty style. Spread over 65,000 meters, the museum has a cultural relic reservoir of 370,000 artifacts dating from ancient times. Build up an appetite from all the exploring and tuck into delicious and authentic dumplings which are a specialty in Xi’An. Enjoy the famous Dumpling Banquet, and taste the different kinds of Chinese dumplings for lunch.

Head next to the Tang Dynasty Mural Hall where as VIP, you will be escorted to the intriguing underground palace. Behold 97 of the best-preserved ancient murals on display, aside from 400 more murals that were unearthed from 26 ancient tombs dating as far back as 206 BC.

After feasting your eyes on these incredible relics, enjoy a comfortable ride back to your hotel in Xi’An.
