While you drive down from North Terrace, Adelaide’s cultural hub, you will come across the highest peak of Adelaide Hills, the Mount Lofty Summit. It is the coldest location in Adelaide. See the over 100 year old elm and plane trees standing tall along the Main Street. You will still find the traditional Fachwerk buildings dating back to the German settlements, of which many have been restored to original conditions. The streets of Hahndorf are lined with eateries, galleries, art and craft outlets and souvenir shops.
