Overview

Be a bit ‘closer to heaven’ by hiking Table Mountain! Forego the “softie” route of the cable car to the top and you’ll enjoy the marvels of a diverse mountain range.

If you are reasonably fit and love walking, this thrilling ascent of Table Mountain is perfect for you.

Cape Town’s iconic Mountain is soaked in ancient history and covered with beautiful wild plants. From the summit you will see eye-popping views of the city, the Cape and the great sweep of the surrounding ‘fynbos’. An experience not to be missed!

Itinerary

Your memorable Table Mountain Hiking Tour begins when you are picked up at your city center hotel and driven to Table Mountain, where you will be dropped at the Lower Cable Car Station.

You’ll enjoy the great outdoors, delighting in the chance to explore a fabulous and diverse mountain range up close and personal!

An experienced mountain guide will lead the way to the summit. From there, you’ll enjoy spectacular views down to the Cape of Good Hope and get a feel for the size of the mountain you’ve just climbed.

After your exhilarating hike, you can take the cable car back down to the bottom (fare not included) and you’ll be then driven back to your hotel in Cape Town. Here your tour concludes and you are free to enjoy the evening at your leisure.
