Overview

The world-class Bird Park is situated on 12 acres of native subtropical forest, close to another celebrated Brazilian landmark, the Iguassu Falls. The Park has more than 900 tropical birds belonging to more than 160 species, both native and from other continents. Exciting new exhibits show caiman, snakes, humming birds and butterflies.

The most attractive aspect of this Bird Park is that it lets visitors enter the huge 8-meter high forest aviaries to study and photograph the birds in their natural habitat without the restrictions of netting and cages.

Mingle with the birds in the aviaries and walk along winding trails through the forest to see exciting plants such as orchids, palm trees, bromeliads and centenaria trees.

Itinerary

For your Bird Park at Iguassu Falls tour you will be picked up from your hotel in Foz do Iguassu and taken to The Bird Park (Parque das Aves) near the entrance of the Iguassu National Park.

The Bird Park is a bird watcher’s paradise with about 900 different species of birds. Take a walk around the park and you will come across an amazing diversity of flora and fauna typical of the region. Further explore the park and you will see exhibits of native snakes, caimans and butterflies.

Keep your binoculars and camera handy to get a close-up view of parrots, parakeets, woodpeckers, hummingbirds and other colorful birds that fly freely in the Park. The absence of any cages or wire netting makes viewing absolutely restriction-free.

There is also a snack bar and souvenir shop within the park premises.

At the end of your Bird Park outing, you will be dropped back at your hotel.
