I have found the tour on the web, I have found all the necessary information, the payment worked, the reply came in order, the arrangement was correct: Evan Evans Tours representative was on the spot when the tour started, the tour itself was marvellous, the guide was excellent and as I can judge she knew her trade professionally. The three places we visited were really very beautiful and interesting...And the bus was comfortable...The tour itself should be a successful one because at the start we learned that there were three parallell buses. The company was really international: many people were from English-speaking countries: from the UK itself, Canada, Australia, US, there were some Italians, French, and Dutch, Asia was represented by Japans and a couple from Hong Kong, and the real curiosity, we Hungarians. The bus started in time and we have seen that the schedule was carefully planned. We could just visit Windsor without any loose times and the bus already started to Bath. Because of the strict timing instead of having lunch in a restaurant we were allowed to eat sandwiches in the bus. After this, at the next stop while we visited Bath the bus was cleaned. Our way back went through the English countryside. We were shown the most beautiful landscapes where the bus just slowed down to allow us take photos, we have seen cottages with hay roof (actually we have similar ones in Hungary too) and a nice tiny one-day prison (which was a novelty for us). We had about half an hour for Stonehenge, the last stop. Then the bus returned to London in proper time. Many passangers could be dropped at their hotel, however, our accomodation was at a remote suburb so we got off at the end, at Victoria. Possible improvements? Perhaps, a glimpse of the Salisbury Cathedral could be involved in this tour without any big effort. Bath is famous not only for the Roman bath (the building is only a XIX-th century reconstruction, and particularly Hungary has many warm bathes) but also for its nice homogeneous Georgian-style sandstone buildings and for Jane Austen (the main attraction for my wife was Jane Austen). Audio-guides at the visited places are not especially your business but they are terrible. They consume a lot of precious time without giving useful information and some constructions are not convenient at all, some of them were out of order... We had only a limited time in England and wished to see as much as possible. These famous spots could be visited one by one by train or by regular bus lines but it would take definitely more time. This tour was not cheap at all, as our guide explained everything is expensive in England, English people go to have vacation in Italy and Greece not only for the sun and the warm see but also to spare money. We have found your homepage on the web, it was informative enough and we have chosen tour 21.
Buses were really easy to see, had one driver that was rude but the rest were very helpful. one of the 4 routes wasn't running, but the main green line was great for seeing all the main sites! great way to see paris quickly!
The tour covered most of Paris which was great. The buses were quite frequent and the commentary was quite good too.
