Aquaria KLCC includes an intriguing 90-meter-long underwater tunnel distinguished by its innovative engineering, providing an immersive experience where visitors can walk through surrounded by marine life, including fish and sharks. Beyond being a conventional aquarium, Aquaria KLCC places a significant emphasis on education and conservation. The facility actively engages in coral propagation programs, playing a vital role in preserving coral reefs. The entrance fees and support from the visitors indirectly contribute to these conservation initiatives, playing a crucial role in sustaining marine environments.
To make the most of your time head during the morning, from 10am to 1pm. It’ll be quieter at this time. The crowds pour in from around 2pm onwards. And of course, see the animals at their best during feeding time.
If you are booked on a hop-on hop-off bus tour, you’ll find that there is a stop at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. It’s a short walk from there. You can use public transport, the rapid KL will whisk you to KLCC Station (KJ10) and then it’s a walk to the entrance.
Typically, visitors are permitted to take photos for personal use. However, restrictions may apply to flash photography and video recording. It is advisable to review the aquarium's photography policy upon your arrival.
Visit the aquarium's website or reach out to their information desk to find out about any special events, temporary exhibits, or shows planned for the duration of your visit.
