Itinerary

This full-day tour begins with a convenient pick up from Hotel Radisson Blu in Marseille. Enjoy the comfort of your AC minibus while travelling to the 3 slated destinations of the day –

Aix en Provence:

Visit the city of water and art - Aix en Provence that holds an old-world charm with its 17th and 18th century private mansions. Also referred to as the City of a Thousand Fountains, experience a combination of tradition and nature as you go about walking along Cours Mirabeau and discovering the markets in the center of the city. Check out the numerous shops, architectural and religious sites, bustling squares, refreshing fountains and the surrounding views of the 1,011 m-high Mount St Victoire that served as a great inspiration to Post-Impressionist painter Paul Cézanne, a native of Aix-en-Provence. You may even visit the Cézanne's studio that was built from his own plans and where time seems to stand still (entrance ticket not included).

Cassis:

Your journey continues to the ancient fishing port of Cassis that provides a breathtaking view of the bay from Cape Canaille. Visit the harbour that is known to be the most beautiful part of the village. Make this trip even more memorable with a 45-minute boat trip (ticket not included) to discover the 3 Calanques, steep-walled coves with tiny harbours or beaches at the end.

Marseille:

Finally, reach back to the Marseille, the second largest city in France for a panoramic city tour. Enjoy a photo stop at Notre-Dame de la Garde Basilica, the most visited site in the city built on its highest natural point at 154 metres. Marvel at the exceptional views of the Phocaean city, the Frioul islands and If Castle and take beautiful pictures.
