Overview

Be a guest at Madame Tussauds Vienna and rub shoulders with emperors, celebrities, Nobel laureates and sports stars.

Located at Riesenradplatz 5, opposite the giant Ferris wheel, Madame Tussauds Vienna is home to 71 wax figures of famous international and local personalities. Get up, close to the figures, touch them and take photographs. The collection at Madame Tussauds Vienna is constantly updated and the museum is divided into 8 sections – history, politicians and visionaries, culture, sports, behind-the-scenes, music, movies and A-list party. Historic figures are recreated in the environment in which they lived, lending an even greater authenticity to the statues.

The carefully selected celebrity list includes Hollywood A-listers such as Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Robert Pattinson, Johnny Depp and Nicole Kidman. Music legends such as Michael Jackson and Freddie Mercury are here, as is Austria’s favourite musician, Falco.

Austrian sports stars like Football legend Hans Krankl, Tennis great Thomas Muster and the country’s greatest cultural icons such as Mozart, Sigmund Freud and Romy Schneider as well as luminaries such as Beethoven and Albert Einstein are on display.

What’s more! At Madame Tussauds Vienna you can go behind the scenes and discover the secret of how the wax figures look so real.
