Overview

This 2-Day Yogyakarta tour drives past beaches, tea plantations, majestic mountains and cave explorations apart from iconic highlights and temples!

Day 1

Experience one of the most magnificent Borbodur sunrises from the biggest Buddhist temple as you visit Prambanan Hindu Temple which is the largest of its kind in ancient Java. The first building dates back to the mid 9th century! Explore the temple and enjoy the rest of the day to see iconic sights nearby.

Day 2

Depart early and head to Merapi volcano where the lava sightseeing rose after the volcanic eruption in 2010! Visit this brilliant site on a 4WD Jeep and once you reach the site, you get to see a vast collection impacted by the lava, alien rock and shelter bunkers. A visit to the Ullen Sentalu museum also offers Batik collections among ancient objects from the Mataram kingdom. The last leg of the tour brings you to the Water Castle area in the centre of Yogyakarta city.
