UH-OH! AT THE MOMENT, THERE ARE NO TOURS AVAILABLE FOR HEINEKEN EXPERIENCE

In 1864, Gerard Adriaan Heineken bought a brewery named ‘De Hooiberg’ which evolved into a company that now owns more than 170 beer brands across the globe. The brand is now more than 150 years old and earns revenue that is probably more than the GDP of several small countries like Cambodia and Jamaica.
At the Heineken Experience, enjoy fascinating narration from the Heineken Experience Ambassadors, who will regale you with hilarious anecdotes, old family secrets, and interesting information about the day-to-day operation of the brewery. Heineken only uses three ingredients in its beer: Malted barley, hops, and water. For a proper pour, the beer’s foam should start right at the horizontal lines of the red star on an official Heineken glass. The beer in your Heineken bottle has been brewed for nearly a month, which is twice as long as the average beer. That’s how Heineken gets its distinct color and taste. Craft beer aficionados, beware!
The best time to visit the Heineken brewery is during the middle of spring. You are less likely to encounter the massive tourist hordes during the months of April and May and, these months also offer the best weather possible in Amsterdam. Early to mid-fall could also be a good time to visit due to diminished crowds and relatively mild weather. However, it can go from mildly cold to mildly warm, so you might want to dress accordingly.
Perhaps the best way to get to Heineken Experience is to take the Metro Line 52 from Amsterdam’s Central Station to the Vijzelgracht Station. It takes less than ten minutes and costs less than 5 bucks. Alternatively, you can take Tram Line 24 from Central Station to the Marie Heinekenplein stop. If you prefer to take the bus from Central Station, then use Bus No. 283 and alight at Weteringcircuit. A walk from Central Station to the attraction takes just over 30 minutes.
The Heineken Experience Tour takes approximately 2 hours.
Heineken Experience Tour lets you experience the entire brewery process of the legendary beer brand up close within authentic wooden barrels of the 18th century. You can upgrade your experience with the Amsterdam Canal Cruise tour.
