It was originally known as the Siam Ocean World spanning a massive area of 10,000 square meters. The largest aquarium in Southeast Asia, SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World is home to over 30,000 sea creatures from 650 species. Featuring a 300-meter ocean tunnel that is transparent to offer the visitors a fully immersive experience.
The SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World has the largest collection of rare jellyfish in Thailand. In the Rockpool zone, visitors can even touch the marine animals and see them up close. There is an ongoing turtle rescue and rehabilitation program where sick turtles are nursed back to health before releasing into the ocean. Other conservation-focused programs are going on in the aquarium that aim to protect marine habitats and educate people to raise awareness as well. There is a dedicated area for penguins with a diverse collection. It also houses Sea Life Bangkok’s Living Art: The Art of Camouflage with three exhibition zones for photo ops.
