Itinerary

Make your way to Buchanan Bus Station, Killermont Street, G2 3NW (Tours will depart from a stance between Stances 23 to 32) and board a luxurious mini coach. An expert guide will accompany you on this historic Scotland tour.

Begin your tour with a visit to Stirling Castle, home to the Scottish Royals until the early 17th century. Also, see the 220ft high tower of the National Wallace Monument commemorating Scotland’s great hero William Wallace, played by Mel Gibson in the Oscar-winning movie Braveheart.

You will then continue into the beautiful forest-covered mountains of the Trossachs and stop for lunch in the heart of the National Park. This area, on the southern edge of the Highlands, was home to Rob Roy MacGregor, the famous Scottish outlaw.

From here a short drive takes you to the “bonnie, bonnie banks” of Loch Lomond. At Loch Lomond, you can visit the National Park Centre or walk along part of the West Highland Way to a hilltop viewpoint with spectacular views of the Loch.

You will finish the day at Glengoyne Distillery, situated in a wooded valley in the southern Highlands. The distillery, which takes its name from ‘Glen Guin’ or Glen of the Wild Geese, has been producing high quality single malt for nearly 200 years. You will have the opportunity to tour this beautifully located distillery and sample the delicious and famous malt whiskey of Scotland.

The tour ends at the starting point. You will arrive in Glasgow at around 6:00pm.
