Discover the amazing diversity of this Canary island, often said to be a ‘continent in miniature’. Move from the palm-fringed shore to the pine-scented mountains of the interior seeing picturesque villages and stunning views along the way.

Local history, nuggets of information and anecdotes from your knowledgeable guide will give you an in-depth understanding of the life and culture of the island.

Your adventure also includes a chance to sample regional dishes and meet local people when you visit a Canarian home for an authentic lunch.

Itinerary

The comfortable 8-seater people carrier can take you to places where no other Island tour can venture and the small group makes for a much more personal interaction with your guide.

Watch with wonder as the scenery changes before your very eyes and the palm trees of the coast give way to the pine trees of the mountainous center. Gran Canaria is a volcanic island with rugged peaks in the interior, many deep ravines and canyons and some spectacular rock formations. The north is green and leafy while the south is a near-desert.

At lunch-time, you will stop at a local home to enjoy a delicious meal of authentic local dishes. Drinks (wine, beer, water or soft drink) are also included in the full-day package.

At the end of your 7-hour tour you will be dropped off at original departure point.
