Marvel at the sheer height of the La Giralda tower on this historical tour of Seville. This magnificent structure stands approximately 97 metres tall and was constructed in several distinct parts from different cultures.
On this cultural sightseeing tour in Andalucia, stroll along the narrow Jewish Quarter and you will see hidden squares, courtyards with fountains, orange groves and old houses. With a visit to the third largest cathedral in Europe and the colourfully tiled Spanish Square, a historical tour of Seville is a must-do for any visitor to Andalucia.
This tour will start with a morning pick up from your designated point in Marbella. Accompanied by a bi-lingual guide, you will be taken in an air-conditioned coach for a guided tour of Seville.
The journey to Seville takes about 3 hours with a coffee stop en route. The coach will go past some of the Pavilions of the 1929 Latin American Exhibition. You have about 1½ hours of free time to wander around the city centre and have lunch (not included).
At around 1:30pm, set out on a guided tour of the Cathedral of Seville, which is the third largest cathedral in Europe. Built in the 15th and 16th century on the grounds of a former Arab mosque, the cathedral is one of the finest examples of Gothic and baroque architectural styles.
Then at 2:30pm, take a guided tour of the Jewish Quarter and find out more about the history and culture of this beautiful city.
At 3:30pm, take a panoramic tour by bus of the main sites including some of the 1929 pavilions, Parque de Santa Maria and a 15-20 minute stop at Plaza de España, the main pavilion of the 1929 Exhibition.
Depart from the city at approximately 4:30pm and return to your original departure point in Marbella around 8:30pm with a coffee stop en route.
