Catering to people of all ages, architecture buffs would love the cutting-edge design of the Museum building, which is based on a dinosaur skeleton. Whereas, curious kids will love what goes inside, when they indulge in all sorts of hands-on experiences to bring science to life.

Itinerary

For your Valencia – Science Museum experience you should make your way to the entrance of the Príncipe Felipe Science Museum within the City of Arts and Sciences to change your voucher for the entrance ticket.

Before you enter the museum, stop for a moment to admire its cutting edge architecture. Designed by the famous architect Santiago Calatrava, the elongated structure is inspired by a dinosaur skeleton. The stark white ‘bones’ of the building are beautifully off set by limpid light blue pools of water and the overall effect is breathtaking.

Inside the museum all kinds of thrilling experiences await you on three separate floors. The lower level is given over to the ticket office, cafes and an information centre. In the upper levels you find the displays and exhibits of the science museum including an interactive museum, an information centre and a high technology exhibition centre.

Through a range of workshops, activities and interactive panels, you will have fun discovering the principles of science and technology, and how they contribute to improving the quality of life.

The ticket is valid for the entire day so you can choose to come and go as you please. At the end of the day you must make your own arrangements to return to your accommodation.
