Our tips for Cruises

  • Money Matters. You can only spend Euros during your Fuerteventura Boat Trip. Plenty of places do take credit cards, but you’ll have to exchange money if you want to spend cash.
  • Turf Wars. Fuerteventura taxis are assigned and limited to each municipality. So, if your hotel is in one municipality and the starting point for your Fuerteventura Boat Tour is in another, it’s better to use the bus to avoid the hassle of a taxi cab layover.
  • You Salty, Bro? Make sure you only drink filtered, bottled water. The tap water tastes a little salty and isn’t fit for human consumption.

Good to know

The best time to visit Fuerteventura is between the months of May and September. While Fuerteventura enjoys pleasant weather throughout the year, late spring to early fall brings the perfect blend of sunshine, aridity, and clear skies. However, it should be pointed out that the summer represents the most popular time to take a Fuerteventura Boat Tour! So, if you plan on arriving between June and August, make sure you book your Fuerteventura Boat experience far in advance to avoid disappointment in the event that no spaces are available. The shoulder seasons of April and October through November present a good mix of affordable hotel rates, cheaper airfares, and great weather. And finally, winter shouldn’t be avoided altogether. You’ll still experience warm sunny days and a lot less crowding at the beaches, meaning you’ll have free reign to take part in all of the available Fuerteventura water experiences!
