Overview

This tour is your chance to see the ancient and the largest opera stage in the world at Verona and also enjoy the picturesque setting of Lake Garda.

Verona is the provincial capital of Veneto in Northern Italy and is one of the country’s loveliest towns. It is rich in archaeological sites and has a beautiful medieval centre. Here you will get free time for lunch.

During the course of the tour, you will visit the following sites:

The Roman Arena in Piazza Bra built in 1st century AD.

Juliet’s Balcony in Via Cappello: House No.23 on Via Cappello street is believed to be the house where Juliet lived. Stand next to the Juliet statue for a photo opportunity.

You can spend some time exploring the narrow streets lined with ‘palazzi’ that make up the historical centre of Verona. Or, take a mini-train tour, if you are feeling lazy.

In the afternoon, proceed to Lake Garda, the largest lake in Italy. Located in Northern Italy, the lake is about halfway between Venice and Milan. The beautiful lake-side towns around Garda have charmed foreign visitors for centuries. Spend some time exploring the scenic beauty of Lake Garda surrounded by mountains in its narrower northern part.

Visit the ancient town of Sirmione, on the southern shores of Lake Garda. The town is home to Virgilio & Catullo Spa complexes, numerous restaurants, bars, hotels and fashion stores. Sites to be seen in Sirmione include - 13th century Scaliger Castle, Roman Villa (Grotto of Catullus) and the sulphur springs on the tip of the peninsula, believed to have amazing healing power.
