Browse endless works of art, explore the Gallery of Tapestries and the awe-inspiring Gallery of Maps, which displays the landscapes and thus the geographical evolution the country has undergone over the centuries. You will then enter the Borgia Apartment, commissioned by Pope Alexander VI and consisting of six rooms. Admire the Raphael Rooms, frescoed by the great painter and his pupils and see one of his most famous paintings, the "School of Athens".
Discover the majestic Sistine Chapel, Michelangelo's best-known masterpiece and a true gem of universal art. Look up at the ceiling and be captivated by a whirlwind of colors and unique representations.

The Vatican Museums are most easily reached by public transport and a short walk from the nearest metro, tram, or bus station. If you come by car, there is paid parking nearby on Viale Vaticano
The Vatican Museums reserve free admission to all disabled visitors with a certified disability of more than 74%. In case of not self-sufficient, the free ticket is also extended to a companion.
This ticket cannot be used for school group, group guided tours and private guided tours.
Shoulders & knees must be covered.
No big bags & suitcases allowed; there are lockers on-site.
Photos & videos are strictly forbidden inside the Sistine Chapel.
